A community of people devoted to Jesus, to each other, and committed to being a witness to the life and love of Christ
The Butterfly
We believe the soul's restoration is not unlike the way a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. Just as we are made a new creation in Christ, so are caterpillars reborn into butterflies. A caterpillar spends all of its time moving from plant to plant, leaf to leaf, gathering resources to support the next phase of its life. But in order for that butterfly to break out of its chrysalis, its body has to disintegrate, rearrange, and reform, ultimately giving rise to the breathtaking beauty of the butterfly.
1 Corinthians 5:17 states that "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." For a butterfly that is by design, for people, it requires the transformative love of Christ and the power of the gospel.
Why it matters
At Monarch, we have first-hand knowledge of the way life's trials can leave deep wounds, and it is during these moments we extend our hand to support those in need. We look to help those who have suffered profound emotional pain, feelings of isolation or abandonment, loss, and trauma. We believe that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported with dignity and respect.
We prioritize the cultivation of healthy relationships as the cornerstone of our programs. By fostering trust, empathy, and open communication, we create a safe space for individuals to share their experiences, learn from one another, and find solace in a community that understands and supports their journey.
Our services extend to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including those facing challenging life circumstances, trauma, or personal struggles. We aim to guide individuals through their transformative process, sharing the gospel, and equipping them with the tools and resilience needed to overcome obstacles and embrace a new beginning.
Our mission
Isaiah 61 says that we are anointed to "bring good news to the poor," "bind up the broken hearted," and "comfort those who mourn," and from that call Monarch Community Group seeks to reach the brokenhearted through the power of God's restorative love and grace. We aim to reunite families, see hope and joy restored, and see healing for so many people who are suffering.
